Advocacy

Did you know that $90 of your ASLA dues goes directly to our state chapter? A portion of this allows us to hire Legislative Counsel, Nathan Ridley, who since 2009, has been advocating for our profession by regularly attending bimonthly meetings of the Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners which is the regulator of the Landscape Architecture profession. He also registers to lobby on behalf of the Chapter before the Tennessee General Assembly each year and makes regular reports during the legislative session to the Chapter's Executive Committee. Nathan practices law in the Nashville office of the firm Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, LLP. This is one way that we are Advocating for our profession year round!
